Global Reliance Travel Group strongly supports the National Privacy Principles (NPP’s) that are in force from 21 December 2001 in respect of the handling of personal information.
Personal Data Collection for Travel Reservations
Global Reliance Travel Group (Queensland) Pty Ltd, trading as Global Reliance Travel Group Sports Travel, and Global Reliance Travel Group Corporate Connections, collects only data that is required to accurately and efficiently transact a reservation with, and as required by, various travel principals such as airlines, hotels, car hire companies, cruise companies, coach tour operators and sports ticket providers etc.
This data is used for the purpose of reservation and ticket processing and is not forwarded to any parties not related to the reservations requested.
Data collected will be utilised for marketing purposes periodically. This includes putting your name and contact details on marketing lists for the purpose of offering you goods or services of a Global Reliance Travel Group (Queensland) Pty Ltd company, or of an approved third party company, by mail, e-mail or telephone. We will remove your name from such lists if you request us to do so.
Completed client booking forms are physically archived after the booking has been completed and stored in locked storage premises inside booking files for the prescribed legal period. These booking forms are only available to authorised staff and may be passed back to our clients upon request. Details provided on these booking forms are NOT loaded into any form of database for future access.
It is not the policy of Global Reliance Travel Group Sports Travel (Queensland) Pty Ltd to request, seek or pass to a 3rd party any sensitive personal information pertaining to race, health, political or religious beliefs, sexual preferences or criminal records.
Our website email database information is protected by a security system held by our internet service provider.
To Delete Your Contact Details from our Database
All Global Reliance Travel Group (Queensland) Pty Ltd customers who receive periodic updates can be removed from our database by emailing direct on travel@grtgroup.com.au to request unsubscription by our staff from the database.
